Art Development
Our Graphic Artists are seasoned professionals, expert at adapting graphic art for the post-print flexographic, preprint, and offset lithographic environments. From image manipulation and color correction to press and substrate specific color management, we have the knowledge, tools and talent to deliver state-of-the-art plates that perform flawlessly on press.
VT TruColor® Dot Proof Proprietary Digital Proofing Technology
In 2009 we developed a proprietary process which has enabled us to provide customers with proofs that are accurate for standalone inks, color builds, and substrate. Essentially the proofs we create will match the printer’s press sheets as closely as possible using present-day technology. The system, which utilizes screened proofing, leverages our steep knowledge of dot gain and press profiling to deliver a color proof that is produced with “dot for dot” precision.
Digital and Analog Flexographic Plate Making
Utilizing the most advanced digital imaging technology available, VT Graphics produces large format (50” x 80”) optimized flat-top dot digital plates which allow for broader tonal-range reproduction, softer highlight transitions, and reduced fluting when printing on corrugated board. Conventional analog imaging is also available in support of liquid in-position plate requirements. This is a lightweight option which offers our customers better ease in handling and storage. These cutting edge technologies allow us to produce the highest level of graphic reproduction while reducing lead times and cost.
